 What did I enjoy this week?

I enjoyed tech this week because this week we started to make boxes.

What was one success I have had and why?

One success I had was completing my inquiry task which was learning about the brain and colouring it.

What was something I found challenging and why?

Something I found challenging was making Roy Lichtenstein pop art because I had to get the right shape and make my writing bold and big.

What is one thing I have learned?

One thing I have learned was the human brain for example the brain makes up about 2 percent of the humanś body weight.

What is something Iḿ looking forward to next week?

I am looking forward to tech because I get to finish the rest of my box.

How have I shown Pono this week?

I have shown Pono by helping other people.

Personification writing

 Today I had made a Personification piece of writing where is giving a personal nature or human characteristics to something non-human. For example the leaves danced in the wind.

Here is my Personification piece about the desk in front of me.

I am elderly, damaged and have scratches and bumps. I am upbeat, goofy, and always grumpy. I wasn't looking forward to students putting heavy objects on me. I felt fed up and annoyed as soon the class arrived. I felt tired, pain, as students write on me.

What did I enjoy this week?

I enjoyed doing cross country this week.

What was one success I have and Why?

My success was basic facts because I learn each time I'm doing maths and by learning from my mistakes.

Something I found challenging and why?

Something I found challenging was graphing in maths because I had to find the depth of the bath, the time.

What is one thing I have learned?

One thing I have learned was learning different chords on the guitar at school.

What is something I am looking forward to next week?

I am looking forward to tech next week.

I was success on remembering my P.E because I need my P.E clothes for sports.

  This week I found making the skeleton because first was our group wasn't communicating properly and labeling it too.

  One thing I learned was the human body and it was pretty fun and challenging.

 I'm looking forward to tech because this week we had Wednesday off.

Cybersmart reflection

Something I enjoyed about Cybersmart was making films with my mates and making funny video's, mucking around with the ipad.

Something I want to learn this term is more coding and scratch this term because last term was sort of confusing term.

Manu tukutuku

This week for our steam challenge we made Maori kites called manu tukutuku. We split into groups of 2, me and Ryan it took as about 2 days to finish our project. After we finish we had to fill out a slide. the slide involved planning it, creating it, and finishing it.

Today for our literacy task we had to watch a video called the lighthouse. Then we made a copy of a google doc and fill out some statements.

Today I have finish my slide based on Matariki.

This slide is one of the Matariki stories, It's about Papatuanuku and rainui split up and had 2 children named tona tona and wainui.

This week my Re task was to find the definitions for prophets, kings, and jugdes. This task required alot of reading, you could not research these because the internet will come up with different ideas.
