My information report about The kakapo

The kakapo
Is that a parrot? Yes but the most heaviest one.

The kakapo is critically endangered.
Appearance

The appearance of a kakapo starts with a beak that is 23 to 25
inches long. The kakapo has green moss features mottled with
yellow and black above, and similar but more yellow below it
with a pale face.

Diet

The diet of the kakapo is berries, nuts, fruits, and flowers and
the kakapo favourite fruit is the rimu tree. The average male
kakapo weighs 2-4 kgs.

Habitat

The kakapo lives in tussock land and lives around coastal areas.
Kakapo disappeared from the north Island because predators like
ferrets, cats, stoats, rats, and dogs can smell the sweet sense of
kakapo.

Let ́s make kakapo repopulate again.

What is your information report about?

A momet in a time

My moment in time.

I saw people as tall as me roaming around telling people where to go.

I felt the anxiety in my stomach as I walked slowly down the hall way.

I heard the conversations around me and I can hear the silence the further I go down.

I smelt the clean air from a distance away.

I wondered would I stop ever stop going to the hospital over and over.

Tell me about what did you do on the holidays?

the 4 sentences

The 4 sentences

In term 2 kakapo class has been working on the 4 sentences. The 4 sentences helped us in writing and expressing our feelings and imaging in our heads whats the story about. The 4 sentences that we expressed were I felt...I saw...I heard...I wondered... for example: I felt the trees roughly touching me as I walked along the freezing shivering ground. I saw the trees sifting and wiggling along I saw trees frightened me. I heard the trees terrifying screech of the wind as I run frightening me and I wondered was it the wind or was it me screeching for my life.

Have you ever wondered was it you screaming or the wind?
