Today in Tekahu we have been looking at sacraments of holy orders. I have created a infographic about Priest, Deacons, Bishop.

 In class we have been working on our language features, one of these being a senses poem.

A senses poem is when you use 6 senses to describe a thing or a location.

With my one I took out the words see,hear,taste,feel,think and smell so it may seem a bit strange..

 What did I enjoy this week?

I enjoyed tech this week because this week we started to make boxes.

What was one success I have had and why?

One success I had was completing my inquiry task which was learning about the brain and colouring it.

What was something I found challenging and why?

Something I found challenging was making Roy Lichtenstein pop art because I had to get the right shape and make my writing bold and big.

What is one thing I have learned?

One thing I have learned was the human brain for example the brain makes up about 2 percent of the humanś body weight.

What is something Iḿ looking forward to next week?

I am looking forward to tech because I get to finish the rest of my box.

How have I shown Pono this week?

I have shown Pono by helping other people.

Personification writing

 Today I had made a Personification piece of writing where is giving a personal nature or human characteristics to something non-human. For example the leaves danced in the wind.

Here is my Personification piece about the desk in front of me.

I am elderly, damaged and have scratches and bumps. I am upbeat, goofy, and always grumpy. I wasn't looking forward to students putting heavy objects on me. I felt fed up and annoyed as soon the class arrived. I felt tired, pain, as students write on me.

What did I enjoy this week?

I enjoyed doing cross country this week.

What was one success I have and Why?

My success was basic facts because I learn each time I'm doing maths and by learning from my mistakes.

Something I found challenging and why?

Something I found challenging was graphing in maths because I had to find the depth of the bath, the time.

What is one thing I have learned?

One thing I have learned was learning different chords on the guitar at school.

What is something I am looking forward to next week?

I am looking forward to tech next week.

  One thing I learned was the human body and it was pretty fun and challenging.
